Elegant Allover Chantilly Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress with Sleeveless Illusion High-Neck Over Sweetheart Neckline and Keyhole Back Purchased at European Bridal in Cincinnati, OH. This dress was the very first one I saw on the mannequin at our very first stop on the first day we went wedding dress shopping. I did try on others after this one but after putting this one on the others felt so cheap and did not hug my body in all the right places. I have a classic vintage kind of style and fell in love with the Chantilly lace. The dress is simple yet elegant, and the buttons down the back add the perfect detail. I think the dress is timeless and something that will never go out of style. Alterations: The straps on the dress were too long for me and they were taken up about an inch on both sides, the dress was also very long and I had it altered as well. I am 5’4 and wore a 2-inch wedge with it. I also had an American bustle added to the dress with three pick-up points. Bra cups were also sewn in so that no bra would need to be worn. Condition: I had this dress cleaned immediately and preserved directly after my wedding. It has been in the preserved box until I opened it up today (April 2023) to make sure it looked just the same as it did when I wore it and it does! Not a flaw on it that I can see and the coloring is the same as the day I bought it.
